Recognized as one of the most prestigious Champagnes in the world and produced only in exceptional vintages, this Prestige Cuvée enhances the characteristics that Sir Winston Churchill most appreciated in Champagnes: breadth, structure, body, and maturity. The blend is obtained solely from grapes sourced from Grand Cru Pinot Noir and Chardonnay areas, partly from vineyards that existed when Sir Winston Churchill was alive. The wine seduces with its splendid intense golden color with brilliant sparkles, thanks to aging in the Maison's underground cellars located 33 meters below street level, where blending, bottling, second fermentation, and aging take place, in addition to hand-performed remuage. On the nose, it is initially subtle, opening with hints of dried flowers and peppery notes, followed by nuances of vanilla and candied fruit. On the palate, it is balanced and supported by citrus notes, while in the mouth, the spicy notes of quince and green tea are amplified by a very fine and precise effervescence, typical of this cuvée of depth and character.
