This straw-yellow wine stems from the oldest Vermentino vines in Bolgheri - the most long-lived counts 36 years of history. Located at 100 meters on a natural terrace facing the sea, the Mediterranean climate, tempered by frequent sea breezes, facilitates organic cultivation in the vineyard, a congenial practice to preserve the authentic character of the Grattamacco hill territory. On the nose, it presents a strong aromatic intensity, where typical saline notes progressively overlap with its fragrant expressive sweetness. Vinification is carried out one-third in barriques and the remaining part in steel tanks. Ageing lasts 6 months with frequent bâtonnage of the noble lees.
